What can I say? You all are great! You've rallied behind me to cheer me up when I was down, you've done so many favors out of the goodness of your hearts, and have supported me through it all. Thank you and God bless each and everyone of you (you know who you are!)
To the kids in my life:
I know some of you don't understand why I don't feel good, and I know you miss the "old" me. I wish I could run and play with you again...maybe someday...You've all shown maturity beyond your years when it comes to my illness; God bless you...My life is enriched by you guys being in it...I love you.

To my dogs (and I include my late Brandy (pictured right), who, although she wasn't a service dog, cared for me in a way that would do any serivce dog proud... Brandy was a short-haired, or smooth Collie. Her sweet, loving, intuitive nature is what convinced me that my next service dog had to be a Collie...She is cherished in a love that trancends time):
You are my freedom and so much more...Words cannot express the gratitude in my heart for the assistance you so selflessly provide for me...With you by my side, I've embarked upon a magical journey which is still unfolding... You give so much, yet never ask anything in return...You have taught me so much; about life, about faith, and about myself...You have taken me to a level of recovery that no doctor or medicine could ever achieve; for that, and for all that you do--I am truly grateful...I'm humbled by your love and devotion to me, and feel honored to hold a place in your hearts...I love you...THANK YOU,
Your mom
