We are Very excited about our new baby... named, Nadja; which means 'hope'

So without further delay....here is Nadja!
Canine and Abled's New Addition!

After nearly 4 months of searching, we've finally found my next service dog! We are very excited to announce the arrival of Dawson's protege!  She was born on 6/26 (my birthday, too!)... and is a beautiful, black German Shepherd graciously donated by Pauline Bragg of Amsel Ravenwood German Shepherds in Springfield, MA

"Hey, I look GOOD in this!"
"Playing house is fun!"
"Wasn't me!"
"Dahling, no photos now...I'm napping"
Double trouble! ;-)
Nadja's first public outing as a Canine and Abled dog!  She spent a couple of hours meeting and greeting folks in front of Acme Market from the safety of her crate; then sacked out for her afternoon snoozie!  Pictured  here with my daughter, Sarah and Dawson.
While Nadja is a very beautiful puppy, we are noticing things about her personality that are very exciting and prove that she is not just a pretty face!  She is VERY smart!  At 9 weeks old, she's already sitting/lying down on hand commands, retrieves, is virtually housebroken, and walks very nicely on a leash.

"What's wrong?!  Did Timmy fall in the well?"
"C'mon Dawson!  I promise, no more Lassie cracks...I hear they're giving away hot dogs over there!"
12 Weeks - What a big girl she's getting to be!
"Any pointers you'd like to share??"
"DUDE!  Has anyone ever told you that you look just like Lassie?!"
Not only can she retrieve...she can retrieve two balls at once! Typical GSD over-achiever!
"Wasn't Us!"
Obviously in love ;-)
Life is good! ;-)
Just stinkin cute!
We LOVE the dog park!
Wheeee!
Lol... I had asked Dawson to help get some things out of the dryer... In typical GSD fashion, not to be outdone, Nadja decided to "help" too!
At the mall on a training session....good stay, Nadja!
And after I released her from her stay, she brought me her leash, as she's seen Dawson do on many occasions... Good girl, Nadja!  Clever, clever girl!
