Hello All! We have some amazing Canine and Abled, Inc. news to share with you today!!! 2/16/2010
In 1999, we brought you the original Canine and Abled Program.
In 2004, we brought you the book, "Canine and Abled, Taking The Dis Out of Disabled."
In 2006, we brought you the Canine Ability Program.
Today, we are very excited to announce that we are bringing you the Equine Ability Program, www.EquineAbility.org --an innovative program that utilizes hippotherapy (equine-assisted activities) and Scripture as a means to offer hope, health, and healing for those suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) in the middle Tennessee area.
We're very excited to announce this amazing new opportunity to help heal others through God's Word! My daughter and I are very excited to be moving to the "home in our hearts" in Tennessee. For those who know me, you know that moving to TN has been a dream that has spanned more than a decade. In my heart, I felt I longed to be there, but God kept telling me, "Not yet!" Well, today He's telling me, "Ready, set, GO!", and I couldn't be more excited to help honor Him through this new program He has laid upon my heart!
We're paring up with a dear friend, and very talented horse trainer; Nicole Friedman of C 'n' J Training Stable in Springfield, TN, to make this vision a reality. In addition to the new, Equine Ability Program, Canine and Abled, and Canine Ability will continue to enlighten and inspire new audiences in Tennessee.
If you've followed our story from the start, you know that this journey is a remarkable one...paved by hopes, dreams, heartache, important life lessons, God's provision, and everlasting love. We stand on His promises, and diligently seek His will for us---stepping out in faith on this new path on our amazing journey. We seek to honor Him with this program, and pray for His guidance and provision for our continued mission. We ask for your prayers as well, that we can help the hurting through this innovative and exciting new program, help dog owners communicate through effective canine communication, and of course; continue to educate about the tremendous benefits that service dogs provide for their partners with disabilities.
(NJ, PA, and Eastern seaboard residents... if you would like a "last minute" Canine and Abled or Canine Ability program---book NOW! We're taking limited farewell bookings before focusing entirely on our move.)
