Call For Sponsors:
Canine and Abled, Inc.  is Hitting The Road On a Nationwide Tour!

Canine and Abled, Inc.
We’d like to introduce you to a unique, one-of-a-kind, sponsorship opportunity that you can be proud of supporting!  Canine and Abled, Inc. is an award-winning, service dog education/character building program dedicated to promoting awareness and acceptance of service dog teams everywhere through motivational education.

We are currently planning a road tour to expand our outreach and education program and are offering sponsorship opportunities that will shed a positive and compelling light on your company/product- (contact for trip details)

Founder, Kimberly Carnevale, created this program along with her first service dog, Dewey,  in order to abolish illegal access denial that exists throughout the service dog industry. She continued the mission with Dawson, a lovely Collie when Dewey retired.

Ms. Carnevale is a former professional equestrian who was vying for a spot on the United States Equestrian Team when a horrible accident ended her dream.  She suffered a traumatic brain injury and was forced to relearn what most take for granted; such as reading, writing, walking and talking. Partnered with her first service dog, Dewey, she was able to utilize the never-ending assistance of her service dog, and incorporate her athlete training in order to create a new dream by promoting the benefits of service animals through this award-winning program.

The program has expanded to meet the demands for disability sensitivity training for youth organizations, health facilities, and businesses (with an emphasis on invisible disabilities), and includes inspirational life coaching and character building that is customized to fit the needs of each audience.  In addition, Canine and Abled, Inc. offers consulting for handlers who have been denied access, and business owners who have had negative experiences with “imposter” service dogs.

Schools throughout the Eastern seaboard have raved about Canine and Abled® assemblies—educators want the program booked repeatedly, and students beg for the program’s return. Hospitals have bestowed the program with accolades for promoting awareness of a very important, yet little publicized social issue.  Businesses, state and National organizations have bestowed the program with accreditation and awards for the doors that Canine and Abled, Inc. has opened for service dog teams everywhere.

The program is best known, perhaps by the real "stars" of the show, the incredible Canine and Abled® dogs. These incredible canines provide a one-of-a-kind, highly entertaining and educational task demonstration. They assist in modeling character-building behavior though amusing behaviors; to the delight of audiences everywhere.

Kimberly has self-trained all of her own service dogs, and now, by popular demand, Kimberly also trains service dogs for others on a limited basis as her own disabilities allow; and wants to expand this service on a grand scale.  She plans to build an educational/training/provision center to serve as a home base for all of Canine and Abled’s services.  She dreams of putting these wonderful canines in the hands of other people with disabilities for little or no charge in order to give others the same freedom and healing that her own dogs have bestowed upon her.

As a sponsor you can be proud to be involved in assisting this award-winning organization to fund its numerous education programs that serve thousands of school children each year, special events that serve the public of diverse demographics, and assist our future goal of building a training/provision center.

If you so choose to fund the entire tour, (vehicle, gas, advertising, ect…) your sponsorship would be exclusive of this event.  (Other sponsorship opportunities --including individual opportunities--- are available as well--See below)

As an exclusive sponsor of the event, your logo will be wrapped around our vehicle, a high-profile, traveling billboard that will be seen by thousands!  You will have a prominent banner ad on our website for the duration of the tour and the wrap will remain on the RV permanently.  All staff will wear shirts sporting your logo, and the Canine and Abled dogs will have special logo patches attached to their capes and/or bandanas to be worn whenever in public (remember, Kimberly is accompanied by her service dog wherever she goes; restaurants, malls, movie theaters--a great additional way to promote!) In addition, your logo will  be affixed to the front of every piece of advertising and information pamphlets claiming, “So and so is the exclusive sponsor of Canine and Abled, Inc. Tour of Dreams” in addition to the previously mentioned advertising.

Canine and Abled, Inc. has been highlighted on TV, print media, and in founder, Kimberly Carnevale’s first book, “Canine and Abled, Taking The Dis Out of Disabled.” (Her next Canine and Abled e-book is due for release in the fall of 2008).  In April of 2008, Canine and Abled, Inc. was named web site of the month by The Northeast Center for Special Care.  Kimberly was invited to participate in a podcast, and since it’s June release, it has become the most downloaded podcast in the history of the organization’s podcast productions.  The interest in the program from these outlets has skyrocketed.

We would like to piggyback on that popularity and offer a new traveling-type event throughout sections of the country, yet to be introduced to the Canine and Abled® program. Targeted booking for the program tour would include: schools, fairs, festivals, trade shows, pet events, hospital/healthcare facilities, book stores, pet supply venues, youth organizations, conferences and similar venues. This type of tour will allow us to cover areas yet untapped in order to present material that has been highlighted TV, print, and in the book(s), shed light on our mission, and help us to launch our plans of a training and provision center in order to provide canine freedom to other people with disabilities.
